Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of SAQR, the recruitment platform for technology roles operated by SANAD Technology ("SANAD", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using SAQR you agree to them. If you use SAQR for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.

1. The service

SAQR lets candidates build a professional profile, upload a CV and apply for technology roles, and lets employers and SANAD's recruiters publish jobs, review applicants, search the talent pool and share shortlists with their clients.

SAQR is a tool to support hiring decisions. It does not guarantee a job, a hire, or the accuracy of any listing or profile.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate information.
• Keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account; tell us at once if you think it has been misused.
• One person per candidate account. Employer accounts may invite team members, who must each use their own login.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, put other users at risk, or are inactive for a long time.

3. Candidates

• Your CV and profile must be truthful and yours. Do not upload documents that belong to someone else.
• When you apply for a job, your profile and CV are shared with that employer (and, where SANAD recruits for a client, with that client through a shortlist).
• If you turn on "Visible to employers", registered employers can find a summary of your profile in talent search. Your contact details and CV stay hidden until you apply or an employer unlocks your profile under their plan. You can turn visibility off at any time.

4. Employers

• Job posts must describe real, lawful vacancies and must not be discriminatory, misleading or used to collect personal data for any other purpose.
• Use candidate data only to recruit for the role concerned, keep it confidential, and comply with Qatar's personal data law. Do not export or resell it.
• Shortlist links are private. Share them only with the client they were prepared for, and revoke them when they are no longer needed.

5. AI features

SAQR uses automated tools (the SAQR Core engine and, where enabled, Anthropic's Claude) to draft job posts, read CVs, suggest skills and calculate an explainable match score.

• AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Review drafts, imported profile details and summaries before relying on them.
• Match scores are guidance for people, not decisions. Hiring decisions are always made by the employer.
• Match scores are based on skills, experience, role fit, language, availability and work location/right to work. Nationality, gender, age and religion are never used to calculate a score.

6. Plans and payments

• Free plans have the limits shown on the Pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, in the currency shown.
• Paid plans renew until cancelled. You can cancel from Billing; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Fees already paid are not refundable except where required by law or agreed in writing.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; the change applies from your next billing period.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

• break the law or anyone's rights, or post discriminatory, offensive or false content;
• scrape, copy or bulk-download profiles, jobs or other data, or use bots to access SAQR;
• try to get around security, plan limits or access controls, or test SAQR for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
• contact candidates for purposes other than the recruitment they agreed to.

8. Your content and our platform

You keep ownership of the content you upload. You give SANAD a licence to host, process and display it as needed to run SAQR and provide the features you use.

SAQR's software, design, brand and the SANAD name belong to SANAD Technology. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.

9. Availability and liability

We work to keep SAQR available and secure, but it is provided "as is" and may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

To the extent permitted by law, SANAD is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the content, conduct or hiring decisions of employers and candidates. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes and termination

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or in SAQR before it takes effect. You can close your account at any time by emailing us.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Qatar have jurisdiction.
